PCR test labs for COVID-19 testing in Nepal
There are total 61 PCR labs for COVID-19 testing in Nepal approved by National Public Health Laboratory(NPHL). It is present in all five provinces and among them 19 are private labs whereas rest are government operated. The price for PCR testing is fixed by government as Rs. 2000 including all the expenses for PPE, sample collection and testing. The results in private labs usually get dispatched within 24 hours whereas in government labs it may vary as per the load in sample collection and testing capacity.
